KS1 grammar and punctuation worksheet that helps Year 1 and Year 2 children write a question that matches a given answer, using the five Ws and How.

A reminder lists the six question starters children can choose from: Who, What, Where, When, Why and How. They are then shown seven answers (such as “I want to go to the park” or “Birds like to eat worms”) and write the question that fits each one underneath. The first question, “What is your name?” for the answer “My name is Alex”, is given as a worked example. Each question must start with a capital letter and end with a question mark.
