KS2 measurement worksheet that asks Year 5 and Year 6 children to draw angles accurately using a protractor and name them correctly.
The page sets out four angle categories: acute (less than 90 degrees), right (90 degrees), obtuse (more than 90 degrees but less than 180) and reflex (more than 180 degrees). Children then draw ten angles using their protractor and label each one with the size in degrees and the correct name, including 30 degrees, 145 degrees, 88 degrees, 190 degrees, 200 degrees, 67 degrees, 243 degrees, 310 degrees, 270 degrees and 164 degrees. The mix of acute, obtuse and reflex examples forces children to read past 180 degrees, which is often where measurement errors creep in.
Useful for KS2 SATs revision, geometry homework or classroom intervention on angles. More angle and shape work sits in the maths worksheets for KS2 ages 9 to 11. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
