EYFS number formation worksheet that helps Reception children practise writing the numbers 1 to 10 by tracing dotted numerals and then forming their own.
Children first trace a full row of each digit from 1 to 9 to build muscle memory and pen control. They then write each number themselves in a clear space underneath, with a starting dot for the digit but no further guides, so handwriting confidence can grow naturally. The sheet covers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and rounds off with number 10 to complete the count from 1 to 10.
Useful for early maths practice at home or in a Reception classroom as a daily warm-up. See related work in our writing numbers worksheets for EYFS ages 4 to 5. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
