KS2 Roman numerals revision worksheet for Year 5 and Year 6 children who have already met the system and need a single page to consolidate before a test.

A reference table at the top sets out the values of I, V, X, L, C, D and M, plus the four-letter pairs IV, IX, XL, XC, CD and CM. A reminder note explains the addition rule with the example XXX equals thirty and CDXLI equals 441. Children then complete two tables. The first gives seven Roman numerals to convert to numbers, including LXXXIX, CCVII, DX, DCXX, M, DCCLII and CCLXXXIII. The second gives seven numbers to convert to Roman numerals, including 35, 550, 305, 111, 913, 1600 and 1010. Working out boxes are provided so children record their thinking.

Useful for KS2 SATs revision or quick homework. More number work sits in the number worksheets for KS2 ages 9 to 11. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
