KS2 grammar worksheet that helps Year 4 to Year 6 children identify and use determiners with confidence.

A short rule reminds children that determiners always come before a noun or noun phrase. They read a cloze story about a boy called Damian whose father has disappeared and who meets a wizard, with more than twenty gaps to fill with an appropriate determiner. A continue-the-story task then asks children to write what Damian’s other wishes were, how he felt and what the wizard said next, underlining any determiner they use in their own writing. A challenge prompt invites them to write the story right through to the end.

Useful for KS2 SATs revision, classroom intervention or homework on word classes. More grammar work sits in our grammar worksheets for KS2 ages 9 to 11. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
