KS1 number worksheet that helps Year 1 and Year 2 children rebuild a 100 square that has been broken into small fragments.
A playful story frames the task: Maisy’s little brother has rubbed out numbers and cut the 100 square into little pieces, and children need to help Maisy fill the gaps. Each fragment shows a small block of numbers with several missing. Children use their knowledge of how the 100 square is laid out (rows of ten, columns adding ten as you go down) to work out the missing numbers in each piece. A filled-in 100 square can be used as a reference if needed.
