KS1 number worksheet that helps Year 1 and Year 2 children break down each two-digit number from 11 to 20 into ten and the remaining units, then write the number out as a word.
A printed word bank shows the number words from eleven to twenty for reference. Children partition each number, so 11 becomes 10 plus 1, 12 becomes 10 plus 2 and so on up to 20. They write the matching number sentence then write the number out as a word. The first row (eleven, 11, 10 plus 1 equals 11) is given as a worked example. Place value arrow cards can be used as physical support alongside the page.
Useful for KS1 SATs revision, classroom intervention or homework on place value. More number work sits in our number worksheets for KS1 ages 5 to 7. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
