KS1 number worksheet that helps Year 1 and Year 2 children count on and back in tens from any starting number up to 100.
Children work through twelve number sequences. Each sequence shows two or three numbers and children fill in the missing numbers by counting forwards or backwards in 10s. The starting points range from low numbers like 6 and 13 up to bigger numbers like 71, 80 and 90, so children get the same practice across the whole number line to 100. Mixing forwards and backwards counting in one task reinforces the inverse relationship between adding and taking away ten.
Useful for KS1 SATs revision, classroom intervention or homework on counting in tens. More number work sits in our number worksheets for KS1 ages 5 to 7. Printable PDF, A4, downloads instantly after purchase.
