KS1 phonics worksheet that helps Year 1 and Year 2 children blend the str cluster with familiar word endings to make new words.
Children combine the str cluster with six word endings (eam, ap, ing, awberry, ong and ip) to build six complete words: stream, strap, string, strawberry, strong and strip. They write each word out, then choose two of them to use in a sentence of their own. A closing prompt asks them to think of any more str words they know.
