Description

Free Conjunctions Table – Grammar

Conjunctions table to help children improve grammar skills and write longer more interesting sentences.  The conjunctions table helps children identify connective alternatives, improving sentences structure.

Using a variety of co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions are essential in writing. Both fiction and non-fiction writing require different conjunctions to be used.  This helps to add interest for the reader.

Children need to be taught how to use a variety of conjunctions.  The more the practise using them, the better their writing becomes.  Many children are happy to use c0-ordinating conjunctions, such as ‘and’ and ‘but’.  This is ok at a younger age, but as children move up through school, they will need to improve their sentence structure.  Children will be required to write longer, more complex sentences.  This table will help children develop their complex sentence writing.
